he has a temp of 80 to 90 on one side of a 40 gal tall long tank, and 80 on the other side. have feed him pinkie rats and shortley after i fed him a small mouse, which someone informed me he could handle, he ate and digested it and couldnt digest anyhing afterwards. he will eat the mice and or pinkie rats and 2 days later will regergitate them. what should i do? I have never handled my snake after feesings for atleast 3 days, and i used to have a 55 watt bulb in there and it was only 75 to 85 in the tank but someone had told me that their vet said it needed to be 90 to 100 for digestion. so i am trying a hotter bulb. yes, it seems too hot for me, but i figured i would try it. the humidity however, how do i get that up? do i just spray water in the tank? And THANK YOU EVERYONE FOR ANY ANSWERS, they are all helpful. I usually wait Two weeks between feedings and I only feed him 2 pinkie rats at a feeding. my last feeding so far after getting a 75 watt bulb was sun and only one small pinkie rat. so far he has kept it down.
