Resolved Question: My snake has a cut in his head..?

I just got finished feeding my snake and while he had the rat the rat managed to cut his head. It doesn't look too deep, but he does have some blood from it. Not a lot though. At my local petsmart they have stuff for reptile wounds ...is that all Ill need? this is the first time one of my reptiles has gotten a wound so I'm not sure on what to do.
