Resolved Question: is a 6 foot long tank to big for my ball python?

i want to get a ball python (as a baby) and i was thinkning of putting it in my tank which is 6 feet long. but then i just watched a youtube video and the guy said thay smaller cages are better.... but the question is, do you think that my tanks too big and i should get a smaller one or just keep it and let the snake get used to it thanks :) p.s this is the first snake im getting so any other times on cage set up would be greatly appreciated! thanks...
