Resolved Question: What's a pet that isn't a dog, cat, or bird, that can strongly bond with it's owner and's easy to take care of?

I want to get a new pet, but I also want to have a strong relationship with it and I can't have a dog, cat, bird, or rodents, and I can't have ferrets. I also want it's care to be low maintenance.
