Resolved Question: A few questions on Ball Pythons, Help.?

I have a Ball Python in a plastic cage w/ a plastic cover. So I can't put a heat lamp/any type of light on the top. I do have a heating pad underneath it which is maintaining the temperature at 80 degrees on one side and the other side is 75. Does my ball python need lighting? I need all information on what they need. Also, are newspapers good enough for ground cover? I have two large hides and a large water dish. Humidity is at 35%. Tell me everything thank you!...
