The lion sprang against the wire, with claws and teeth going through, in a split second. The wire mesh was large enough that his claws went through. I could have been mauled, but reflexes made me jump away in time. It was hours before my hair stopped standing on end. My reflexes, unfortunately, also turned off the camera as he leaped, so that the video didnt show him on the wire. The lion was eating a horse.
